We got the paperwork filled out for the mortgage company, the signed estimate with the contractor, and the first check for the structural repairs from the insurance company. When the fire investigator for the insurance company gives us the go ahead, the contractor can get in there and start working. It's been almost 2 months. I can't wait for the contractor to get all that ruin out of there and then get to work on the layout. No major changes structurally, but a new kitchen layout and a few tweaks here and there.
